It seems to me that this is pretty excellent. The lighting, the poses, the expressions, the body languages, the discreetly linking hands and the props all add up to a great photograph.
In two words; Perfectly Casual.

Real nice work, Armando. A nitpik would be perhaps to have a little light on the hair on both separating them from the bg. A small light on the bg behind them could also do the trick. Very well done.

It has nice emotion and calmness Armando. I like the way they're arranged (sort of creates a pyramid). They seem to like being there - a big intangible. The girl especially seems like she's having fun.

A few nitpicks: would like to better see where they're holding hands, and maybe both the female's eyes fully open. Composition's good, but I'm more drawn to the top of the image and therefore feel it has cropping possibilities. I definitely feel as Gary does that their hair is fading into the background, so yes, a hair light would be a helpful addition (setting it up on its own stand to just hit their hair is the tough part, though).

One observation that I will make, which is hard to describe, is that it may be in-between a very interesting shot and minimalist shot. That is, it is just a little bit plain - which can be OK depending on the mood and feeling you're hoping to portray. But for that to work best, I would like either more negative space or a slightly different lighting scheme. If that's not what you want, perhaps adding one more prop. Hope this makes sense ... it's hard to articulate.

I was shooting towards he other side of this room vs a white wall, with at least 5 lights (!!) , but the remote was failing every other time and I and the models got fed up with it, we turned the other way and used my flash triggered by my on camera flash, no radio remote, I remember that in the bunch of lights set up behind me was another nikon flash an never though of turning it around an use for the back drop ... oh well next time

Greg, each one of my initial frames was to close and I had to continuously take a couple of additional steps back to fit the models in the frame, yes I could have used a bit more space on the sides ad an additional light to add more drama ...
