    Yosmeite Chaple

    [FONT="Comic Sans MS"]The family took Christmas vacation in Yosemite this year and here is one shot to share. Thoughts / comments are always appreciated and welcomed.

    I like the composition on this one. I think that it has the right amount of everything. Foregouund, mountian and sky. The only minor issue, I would like tho see the top of the steeple.

    This image brings back fond memories of Yosemite, I think it's most beautiful in the Winter. By the way nice photo.

    wow that looks great the lighting is perfect i like the placement of the house in the frame. the mountains add a great effect to the shot. it looks really good. nice shot.

    Thanks Greg, Jim, and Jay. I love going to Yosemite and usually go there for vacation during the Easter break but because my two kids had different Easter vacations we decided to go there during the Christmas break.

    Never thought about it Greg but now that you mention it I would have liked to see the steeple also.

    The composition is really sharp. I think it could probably use a little more contrast, but it is very nice as is.

    This is a great spot to do one of those time-exposures of the night sky with swirling stars. There's nothing around to contaminate the shot with stray light. You could then separately expose the church wiith external strobes. (!)
