    Yerba Buena Island

I have been so busy lately with other things that I haven't had a chance to do much photography, but I wanted to run this one past you to hear your thoughts. Does this work?

It was taken from a plane leaving out of San Francisco over the bay area. The Island is Yerba Buena with the Bay Bridge on either side. Since I don't think I'll be able to get back to this exact spot again any time soon, is there something I should do on the processing?

    Thanks,

    PC

Pretty good photo for out of a airplane window. I'm experimenting with LAB in PS and it's supposed to reduce haze in images. I'm not sure how but it might be worth looking into.

    Cheers,

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

Looks good to me. I can't add anything. I think that was quick thinking, using the line of boats and shooting it portrait. Nice shot.

PC - it has a peaceful feeling about it. The amount of blue is obviously somewhat of an issue IMO (though I noticed that no one else mentioned it), but perhaps that's the way it was, since the boats seem properly colored. I find it without any particular subject but that sometimes shots with multiple objects seem more relaxed, not 'forcing' your attention to any one area. So I think it works. Also like how the boats seem to form a diagonal line.

Great shot, even with the haze. I spent a year there at the man made part which is/was called Treasure Island. That was where the US Navy had it's electronics technician, radar operator and sonar technician schools. I haven't been back there for almost 50 years.. Sure brought back some memories. Thanks and I also like the photo...

This is very good! I agree with GB that the pic delivers peaceful feelings. I also like the composition of the boats.
