A nice photo of a flower, but it could be lighter. The dimness of the photo seems to take away from the color of the rose. I would use a longer exposure next time, if you can. As to the size, did you use the photo upload tool or something else? The photo upload tool usually limits the size of the photograph, but if you used something else you probably would have these kind of problems.
