    Yawning Seagull

I have never seen a seagull yawn before this.....it is actually kind of disturbing! LOL
What do you think of this picture? The bottom part of the image by his feet are really soft for two reasons, 1. It was raining and 2. It was shot through my car window.
All critique or comments welcome! Thanks!!

Pretty good from a car window! I'd do a little cropping here, elim some of the surrounding that doesnt really fit the subject. You could use him (cut and pasted..) in a political satire cartoon... Pick your politician.

    Chow,

That almost looks morbid/surrealistic! Big mouth on that 'gull! The crispness and sharpness of the bird around the eyes is great, especially for it being shot through a car window. The softness near the bottom is a distraction, but it's a given considering the circumstances. The background is also a tad distracting, but I think the unique nature of this shot makes up for it. Great shot though, the colors are awesome!

A neat image! The BG thing can be cleared up fairly easily, even using another exposure, so I wouldn't worry much about that. Your subject, composition and sharpness are nice though. Good job!

LOL, Love the Idea of the political cartoon! Will have to work on that!
Thank you for the comments, we were in a McD's Parking lot and he wanted food, I was taking shots of him and then he yawned, I was in awe of it but luckily remembered to actually take the shot and not just sit there and stare! LOL
