My concern with this photo is the business on the left after the wall stops. Also the big slab that comes in across the fence on the brick wall and the photo looks grey and possibly needs a contrast boost.
Now for the good bits I like the fence and how it stands out and its position in the frame. Is there a better view from the other side?

Roger---thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, there are no views from the other side. The trouble with this is the backgrounds. I should have picked a better subject, but it's all a part of the learning process. As for the tonality, yeah I could boost the contrast some. It's originally a color shot, which I thought might be better b & w.
