    Very nice picture. Maybe just crop the bottom just a hair so you do not have quite that big of a void space? I really like it. I love the lighting, reminds me of early morning when the sun is first rising.

    That's a nice sharp image you have LL. I like how you captured the whole bird within the DOF (and not just they eyes). What size lens are you using?

    I agree with CCC to take just a tad more off the bottom.

    Thanks all for the comments. This was taken with a D70 and Sigma 50-500mm at the 500mm end 1/180 and f/6.3 with ISO 800. It is cropped from the horizontal. There is a little more noise than I'd like, but I think it works okay here.
