    Re: Wonder on two wheels

I like the lighting on the bike and really makes the paint glow. I think this is not the ideal angle to catch this bike from, as showing a little more of it from the side would make it more interesting. These are tough shots as the subjects are in less than ideal surroundings and usually have lots of things nearby that you would try to eliminate from the shot, which is what you may have been doing here from this angle.

nice pic of a nice bike, as he said the lighting is great, the only thing (imho) would be to change the angle slightly to the side, in order to show more of the back wheel/rear section. but overall a good looking pic

    Re: Wonder on two wheels

    Well done Seb!

I really like the lighting in this one. Seems that there are multiple lights that are placed in perfect spots. I wish the DOF was a bit more contrasty though.

Why did you cut off the tiny bit of front wheel while having all that space up top? I think maybe you should've added a bit more breathing room for the bike down below and less of the top area.

I still love the colours and the mood of this shot.

    Good work.

    Hi Seb,
I agree with Gary about the lighting. It is just great. However, the background is not too good for the shot. I understand you cannot do much about it.

    Re: Wonder on two wheels

    Thanks guys

Gary: I wish I could have shot this bike from all angles which was plain impossible. This is a bike I am somewhat familiar with and the quadruple exhaust pipe mounted under the seat are glorious but they weren't even visible for the folks at Grand Central.

Buckwild: I couldn't go behind the bike. I fully agree that the angle isn't ideal though.

Leels: I must give a lot of credit to the folks who set the lighting for this bike and the Lamborghini's that I have also shot. The lighting was just plain excellent at the first place.
I couldn't tell you why I cropped the front wheel, I just did it. I kinda like the effect but I also see your point.

Yoyo: I kinda liked the background but I will admit that it doesn't really fit with the bike. These are more like two interesting elements that doesn't quite blend together!

    regards

    Seb
