Very nice, Lou. That rock wall is the icing on the cake. In a more perfect world, I would like to have seen a better focus on the trees on that left hill -- but that's a pretty minor nitpick

I agree with Paula, on the better focus, your exposure was 1/250 @ F10 and ISO of 110. IMHO a higer apature number, increasing DOF, would have helped, and I would guess that F16 or F22 would have brought everything into focus. Sometimes I get lazy and have to force my self to use an exposure mode of somethng other than Programed AE, but it is often worth the effort. Otherwise an extremely nice image.

This is nice but the road needs a bike similar to your avatar with a helmet on the seat to add an extra dimension to the photo or you could take the easy option and crop all the road out.

all pf your comments are vrey encouraging,i have been struggling with my lack of being able to take good pics,I was in such a hurry to get off the hill that I just put it in landscape mode to see what I could come up with,I would like to see what kind of crazy person would ride a bike in those conditions though,I ride mine when it is raingng,but never in the snow,thanks again guys,

Nice scene Lou, I would crop a little on the bottom and if possible reduce the crop on the top.
