    Beautiful shots!
The only thing that bugs me (personal preference) is that #2 is cut in half by the horizon, but still a great shot

Thanks! I agree regarding the rule of 3rds on that pic. I didnt have a wide enough angle to capture both the sun as it was setting and the texture of the ice...I understand it's a photography "no-no" though

Beautiful shots. All of them. Hey btw, be careful out there when you're on those frozen lakes. The first shot here looks pretty dangerous. Also, how do you get those beautiful tones? I've always wondered what post production process it took. Is it just deepening the blacks?

Thanks guys! Honestly I don't really know what exactly I did to get the tones. I just play with a few PP programs (Photoshop CS3, Nikon Capture NX) and tweak it till I get what I like...I'm not very good at the post processing thing (Photoshop is very overwhelming to me!)

These images make me want to take a trip and visit Algonquin Park in Ontario Canada!

Although I don't care for the dark vignetting around the edges of the first shot, nevertheless, it is my favorite because of the amazing colors.

Thank you for sharing these with us. I am looking forward to more of your work.

Lovely photo's and I like them a lot, I really do like the first one with the chap on the ice.

The wheel house is a little overprocessed for me, but still a lovely photo.
