    Re: Winter Images

I like the second one best. It has an artistic feel about it. I have seen a technique very similar to this used in a book. But I think the tree was multi exposed onto a frosted car window. Also the, cobra head, street light on the upper left is just a little distracting, an easy PS fix. Over all I really like the picture. Nicely done....

Thanks greg. I left that light in because I thought it fit the shape.

The one on top completely works for me. I think it is a great photo and wouldn't change a thing.

Done love the first one and the second but agree with Greg about the street light just jutting into the photo. Either include all of the light or clone it out.

I like the third but portrays early morning to me not winter . I think the joins in the panorama are obvious but I have to say I like the symmetry.

I really like the first and second as well. Definitely conveys a frosty feel. The light in the second doesn't bother me since it's so faint. The impact of the tree, to me, is still very strong.

[Edit: the image numbers were wrong on my first post]

I really like the 1st shot. I would crop out a little of the bottom to elim that black edge. # 2 is also nice, would cut out that left side black too.

The pano one and it's adjustment... Hmmm. I think that the adjustment looks adjusted - boo. The original isn't bad,, just needs something on the mtn/hill to add some interest, like a flag, a tower, a person thrusting up their arms, etc..

Thanks everyone. I will tell you that mountain is a pile of snow plowed and stacked from a parking lot. It's about 20 feet high. I used it to block the sun. You can see sun dogs at the sides.
