    Windows On The Wall

Not to confuse anyone with Don's 'The Wall'.
    Two versions......color and b & w. Which is better?

    Hi John,
I prefer the colour version. I like the shadow a lot!

Thanks Yoyo. I thought maybe the black and white version would emphasize the shadows more, and the color version the brick and windows.

I prefer the color one, also. Needs a little straightening

Thanks Frog...I wasn't sure about the straightening. I thought it was my eyes.

I prefer #1 too. I can see what attracted you to the shot. I think you composed it well. I like where you placed the fire escape. The shadows also help. It seems to need sharpened some but another good picture John.

    Re: Windows On The Wall

I agree it needs a bit of straightening. I have to say, after looking at this over and over again I am drawn more to the b&w version as the texturs and shadows stand out for me best. The color version seems to distract me from the details and shadowplay, and the colors are not so pleasing that it makes it for me that way.
    I go with B&W
btw, good subject and decent composition.

I like both the color or the B&W equally. But the B&W you can see more detail as the color doesn't hid it.

I say B&W on this one and I am a color fan.

    How can I be lost
