I agree with that if the idea was to show her eyes. But I found that when they were tack sharp I lost the reflections. The reflections are what I was trying for to show that there was more depth to her soul than just the look of her eyes.

/shrug. I guess it's back to the shooting rail =)

I like the eyes, but wish the snout was sharper. Maybe you can crop it?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. how does this crop look? I also increased the contrast and the clarity a bit more to try and get more focus around the eyes.

I think you are on track with your second edit! I like the reflection in the eyes, and the story you were trying to portray with this photo
