Window from the Conservatory- Does it work?

Hi All,

Here is another "window" picture, which I shot at the SF Conservatory of Flowers back in June.

This pic has been cropped down from its original- as I figured focusing a little more on the details of one window would be more effective than, say, 20 windows. I've also adjusted levels slightly and upped contrast a tad in Photoshop.

Does this work? Is it interesting and composed enough?
These windows really reflected how I felt in there, its about 85 degrees and 100% humidity. These windows just looked slimy, gross and increased my sense of feeling trapped in that hot humid place. (I really did have a good time there! ;) )

Without the explantion the picture conveys a chilly wintery feeling for me. I don't think there is a strong enough point of interest for the shot to stand on it's own. Sorry. Maybe a larger print would show more.

Thanks Chunk- Funny you mention that- chilly wintery thing- because I was thinking when I reviewed this, if there was only a way to make it look hot and humid!
Here is a shrunken down version of the original.... I wasnt impressed with the total shot
(I was not allowed to bring in tri-pods or equipment- strollers aren't allowed either agh!), so I thought maybe cropping out some would add interest. Oh well!

Looks like it went from cold to hotter than the hinges!! :)
