I like this one! I like how the sailboats are placed in the frame. I wish it had the color of the other one, but then maybe the boats wouldn't stand out so much and look so wonderful as they do in this one. Yeah, I'm indecisive.
I know some feel that the motion should be of the boats moving INTO the frame, but for me I like this moving OUT of the frame capture.

Interesting tom. At first I thought what the...? cause I thought it was real and though were is the water like that till I figured they were models. I like the placement of the boats here, but not too crazy about the black waters.

Stupid Question below:
Are those the remote control sorta boats? If so they must have a little motor right? I mean winds surely can't power something that small.

Leels - This is a real model sailing boat - NO engine at all. They are very fast when the wind is strong enough (jogging speed) and in the light that I had are difficult to photo well as these are a little blurry in the original - ok at this size but no bigger.

The water I deliberately made dark because I wanted the reflections and in this light it was very dark. Sun kept hiding behind clouds and was very low on the horizon when these were taken.

D: Rules are meant to be broken, but in this photo I didn't really think they were, Rule of Thirds almost to the grid and in a way they are moving into the frame.

Just noticed your a girly and looking at model boats LOL :-) My daughters one of the helmsman (sorry person) of the bigger boat at this point.
