Are you sure it's a wild dog? Looks like a young hyena to me...

Re: The Wilddog ( protected animal )

    Hallo Fey ,

You sure got me with this one !!
It is a animal that is in captive , and they said it is a wild dog . But you could be correct here , this could well be a hyena . If you take a closer look at how a wild dog looks like , it's ears are a bit bigger and more round with less hair , and the body is smaller .
    Thanks for notice that !
    Regards
    james

I love this picture! It is very sharp and there is nothing that takes your attention of your subject. And the subject - looks sooo cute the way you have captured him in this photo! great job!

I think I got the answer from one of the posts above... but just to be a gratuitous smart-a$$... I hope that was a zoo. You guys and your animal pics... just wander out on the savannah... and get eaten! LOL.

Wonderful shot. (I think it looks like a hyena too!)

    Hi Nina, DarkStars and shadz

Thank you for your kind comments .

Shadz , yes it is definatly a hyena ! It is in a kind of zoo .
But here are lots of places where they are not in zoo's , like the Kruger National Park .

    Kind regards
    james
