Seb; be proud of these horse images. To my mind they are faultless and they leave you racing ahead of the pack at the moment. I can only imagine how wonderful these could look in large print situations.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
I'm in total agreement with Tom. You've given this horse an almost human perspective and, personally, I don't think that's an easy thing to do. I'm anxious to see what you're going to put up next
Tremendous job on both these photos. I like thefirst one the best, as it has a more noble and grand feel to it...but that is just personal preference and by no means do I think that this one is inferior.
I like how you decided to compose this photo and I like the elements left in, sheep or whatever, that help to draw your eye back deeper into the photo. I believe when posting a photo this small it could be viewed as a negative , but when these photos are blown up, they would add a much needed element. The tones in both these photos are great and really showcase the potential in b&w photography.
Congrats on two wonderful photos...
Cheers.
I'm always mentally photographing everything as practice.

Yeah, I have nothing more I can possibly add. They are simply breathtaking. And I tend to think I'm pretty jaded! Congratulations on some just SPECTACULAR images!!
