    Wild flower macro

Cut it last night and brought it home to do a focus stack

    Re: Wild flower macro

I'm afraid the composition is not working for me, Armando.
The flower and buds are interesting and I like the dof but they are separated and where located in frame does not lead to natural eye travel between subjects

Amazing shades of blue-green-purple there Armando. Not sure the composition's outstanding on the left side, as it seems a little cluttered, but the scene was definitely worth a shot. Good sharpness for the most part.

To improve this one, I may have looked for a slightly different angle that eliminated the cluster on the left.

    Re: Wild flower macro

I would crop the left half of this, the buds on the right and the darker background would work IMO
    Pete

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

    Re: Wild flower macro

Pete, GB, Frog, thanks for commenting

I didn't quite like the composition either, as mentioned it is a bit cluttered, , only the 2 buds on the right ...hmm I don't know, I would like to have the yellow flower included,

Maybe an opportunity to get another set of flowers

About the background colors, I do not know where the blue came from , but it sure looks nice

Have to agree about the composition. What about cropping two shots out of it. One on the yellow flower and one on the bud?
