    Wide Angle Landscape Portrait

My first attempt at a landscape portrait. Shot with an Tamron 11-18, Sony A700, and a cheap polarizing filter.

I like the low perspective that you took and the time of day. But the sky seems incredibly washed out for that time of day, especially considering you were using a polarizer.

Also, I would try not to get your subject in the center of the frame like that. You could probably crop proportionally from the bottom-right and top-right to get him off center.

This is a very good snapshot. You should put the subject noticeably to one side of the frame. A fill in flash would have let you underexpose a little to bring out the sky better. I set my camera to underexpose by 1 stop.

Not bad, I agree with Doc and Don plus I think you could have gotten even closer (so his feet were touching the very bottom of the frame)
    No, I DON'T need that.
