Wide angle beetle

This shot seemed to me as a regular snap and move on photo until I took a closer look @ it in photoshop. I managed to get details and things I couldn't do with PS CS2. I do say, Photoshop CS3 is very nice. Critique on my photo please! I know the sky is blown out. Anything else I should change or take note of in similar photos I may take?

I like it! It's a fun picture and makes great use of the fish eye exaggeration! Nice grab!

I myself would of liked a more beetle, but overall I liked the photo. But what is the big deal about the sky, that not the subject and it's off in the corner.

it may just be me... but that beatle looks surreal. i love the distortion, and the DOF also helps the exagerate the size of the hand and add attention to the beatle despite the beatles size... just awesome. nice shot.

I just find the brightness of it pulls my eye towards it.

I like it as well, but would prefer the beetle centered on the middle finger. As is, the emphasis seems to be on the finger and not the beetle.

I'm curious why CS3 was so much better in this case than CS2. Can you elaborate?
