    Who needs wings!

This dog was determined to get the ball from his owners hand, but the more she tried to keep it the higher he got, with the dog being pridomantly white and grey in colour i blurred out the surroundings so that the dog stood out more. Any advice or ideas on this would be great. www.k9imageworld.com www.bevbarkerphotos.com

Good Dog! I wish mine would do that. Mostly she just lays around all day. I like both of these, but the vertical composition isn't the best IMO. Likely you were doing it that way to really show how high the dog was jumping. But for me, it constrains the image too much. As if the dog is trapped in the frame and the only place he has to go is down. A horizontal shot [I]may[I] have been better. This would give the dog more space to "move" around in. Otherwise, great decisive moment pictures.

I agree.......only other thing, is it appears that you did a post picture blur? Around the dog in some of the pictures, it almost looks warped because part is clear and part is blurry.....maybe try zooming in more when blurring to get a more acute touch?

Beautiful Australian Shepard? Or Merle Border Collie, either way, beautiful!

I agree with Chow...it apperas a little over post processed. I like the idea, though I'm not sure about the method you got to it. The shot works well, though my favourite is the first one...having the human element in there balances out the frame and works well.

    Nice shots.
