Where's Peet? (Beach shot involving water)

Peet as in the shoe dryer

Taking pictures of surfers from the beach, engrossed in the viewfinder of my brother's S2IS....so I got my feet wet.

Really excellent if it has not been manipulated in any way (straight from the camera?).
    Well seen.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Yes very eye catching, love the colours, would also be interested to see if any manipulation work had been done. But still well caught. www.k9imageworld.com www.bevbarkerphotos.com

Only manipulation was the auto levels.

    Here's the original, only resized.

Dude, I would seriously present this more formally and hang it as art! Well done!

Re: Where's Peet? (Beach shot involving water)

Thanks all. I printed it 8x10, and man, this camera is truly amazing, ok, so the quality is the same as my A510 on 8x10, but next time there's one of those coupon codes for shutterfly 16x20...well...you know ;)

shoulda seen it in real life, watching the water rush over my feet made me so dizzy!

I tried capturing it in video

I imagine if I had longer arms and a real video camera at the time a similar effect could have been produced on a big screen.

I'll convert the video to WMV and post it on here when I'm done eating.

This IS quite cool. I love the colors...it really seems like a painting to me.

A bit choppy since it was originally 38mb AVI...now it's a 2.57mb WMV. Go figure.
