Seb I like this one too. I can't really say which I like better but If I were going to hang one on my wall, it would be the B&W one.
Thought I'd like to share...
The cow is at the end of the frame facing out of the frame. Now I know whoever wrote the general "rules of photography" would have you have the cow facing the other direction, or with more space in front of it. I'm not usually a fan of this rule. I only think it matters in rare cases and a lot of times I'll purposely shot a subject on the edge of the photo looking out of it.
B/W ruins this one for me Seb.
I had no problem finding the cow, the first thing I noticed actually, mainly because she looks awkward in the frame because of the direction she is facing. She could have choosen any other stance and it would probably look fine. But I think the overall composition and the positioning of her ladyship is excellent.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
Hi Seb,
This shot have a humor factor. The composition and the colour are very good. I am a bit uncomfortable with the sarcastic title. Thanks for sharing.
yoyo
I like the color version. I had no trouble finding the cow and feel the singular subject over dramatic cliffs and beautiful sky make for a pretty impressive shot.
I realize that the cow may seem small here but I mean this island series to be printed rather large (11x14) so I don't think that it will be an issue on the end product although I understand your concern with this version for web displaying.
The posture of the cow in the far corner looking outside was done on purpose. I wanted people to wonder what she might be looking at and to push the "weird factor".
I find your comments on color vs b&w to be most interesting. I really couldn't make my mind betwen the two.
I like the color version better. I don't know how you guys get such great color saturation. I also like this shot as a panoramic by cropping out most of the sky but it's a different photo at that point.
Manacsa: Thank you for your suggestion. About colors, a level adjustement in post processing oftenly goes a long way to produce pleasant colors (as long as the picture was decently lit and exposed at the first place). In this particular case however, I have strictly no merit, this is pretty much straight out of the camera. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen as I already said few times! : )
I love this one Seb, much better than the B&W.
The colours are fantastic. And I love your composition with the cow in the corner.
A very eye-catching image.
