    What's up?

    Hi All,
The shot was taken at 200 mm focal length. Please criticise.

On my monitor the background is too bright.

Great shot, great idea. I bet it will print very well.

Yoyo, I think this is the second time I've seen you capture animals on film. I like your ability to do so. Animals are tricky, they move, and dont always "perform" for us.
I like the perpective in which you shot and the negative space above the cats head. I like that the image is soft as well.
    Great shot!

Hi MB1 and Rebekah, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the cats are very alerted when facing a camera. I have to shot many times to get a decent photo.
    All the best.

Yoyo, this is a very fine cat shot. Oodly, I looked at it when you post it yesterday and it didn't captured my interest (what was I on???). On second thought, this photograph jump at me as a very compelling one. I like how you catched great textures and plenty of fine details in a pleasantly soft light. Also, the composition is elegant and effortless.

    regards

As said below, the texture is lovely here, but it is the composition that makes this one really work, you made exactly the right choice for this, nice one.
