    Whats missing from this portrait?

    took this awhile ago at some play ground, i like the look and position of it. Whar could be improved? We call it the "pimp" hat lol. i cant shoot humans worth a cent!

    The "pimp's" face is too far way. The framing is a nide idea, but I'd crop it so you don't have the open aspace at both sides of the playset and try to zero in on his face some more.

    I'd say...

    You should crop it, and crop it tight. As it is, the image is just too busy. I would suggest that you crop it to the frame surrounding him. The lighting looks good.
    If you re shoot it, you might also try a heightened point of view, not much of one mind you, just so you are a little more even with the subjects face. And step a little closer too.
