thoughts? I had done another one of these a while back, but nothing really came of it, since I had a crappy lens, bad lighting, and really no clue what I was doing. So I redid it with my 70-200 2.8, three simple lamps and one overhead, and a bunch of color behind it. Then i played with saturation and hue a bit, and you have the final product. Just wish it wasn't so noisy. I would run it through NI, but then I would lose some of the sharpness.

Good catch. Decent sharpness though could be even sharper... What shutter speed did you use? The wild colors ........... Hmmm... yeah, maybe. -GB

I agree with GB about the sharpness, a little more wouldn't hurt. How did you get those color effects on the bottom...great however you did.

are you talking about sharpness of the lower water stream, or the top drip? the top one can't be saved, the bottom one is fairly sharp, but I worry if I sharpen it anymore the noise will really start to come out. I have a shot showing how i got the colors, but it kind of takes the magic out of the shot, if you know what I mean. I'll post it in a couple days.

I'm reffering ot the long tube of water. I understand how that might affect noise however though. It's a toughie to try to fix.

I really like the DOF here as well as the colours. It would've been your generic sorta water drop shot but the colours really differentiate this from all others. Good job.
