What time do they open on a Sunday, Bill?

I thought they were waiting for the pub to open... The other title could have been "Oi! wait your tern!!"

I think that this is a good start. I would crop/clone it to where there are no partial birds and minimize the building. Then work on getting some color in the sky. - TF

Re: What time do they open on a Sunday, Bill?

Those were my thoughts exactly. The main problem is the bird on left with his chopped beak and the one on the right cut in half.
The only crop I see to not cut birds up would only leave you the three center left unless you can crop others and then clone. If you can clone the end birds, I'd try a bit of fill light if you shot raw and then increase saturation. It would be a hard one for me too.
    Good eye though.

are you using photoshop at all?

for the sky, if you select the burn tool, set it to shadows, and about 4% opacity, using a large brush, you could go over that just a little and bring out some of blue. then you take the dodge too, set it to highlights, 4% opacity, large brush, and brush over some of the lighter areas.

it's not going to give you a hugely dramatic sky, but will give you a little more contrast in what you have. Curves and layers work well for this too, but that not as easy.

I'm not editing very much due to my experience. I have downloaded gimp?
