    I like the top one although there could be too much contrast. It might look pretty good in B&W too. I wouldn't mind seeing an image from the same place if you had moved in a little closer to the weeds too.

    The second one just looks like a jumbled mess to me. Perhaps there is too much contrast combined with a very narrow color range so there isn't anything to draw the viewer into the image (or it could just not be my kind of photograph).

    I agree the top one is easier to like. These are late fall/winter colors. There is a subtle beauty there. The second photo attracted me because of the sweeping movment of the grass which seems to curl around clockwise. Oh well. Thanks for looking and your comment.
