    What do you guys think of this?

    I've been fooling around with a plug-in called Topaz Adjust this weekend. What I want to find out is what kind of photo that plug-in is good for. Here's one of the results that I've come up with:

    I bought it because it's one of the seven plug-ins in a bundle suite that was on sale last weekend. But I'm not sure what to use it for? :blush2: So far it seems to be good for landscape shots. And it also seems to me it's for turning an "normal" photo into a HDR kind of photo

    Any idea, anybody?

    Personally I find hard to comment without looking at the original shot. What does this plug-in is supposed to do?
    That being said personally the background is not my cup of tea, what can I appreciate is a strange tonal saturation and sharpening (which might work for some given moods). The thing I really do not like is a set of blueish spots all over the background as if the background was washed out.

    I think it's a great image. I don't understand it technically and let my eyes wander all over it for a long time. Finally, it struck me...stop working so hard and just enjoy it. Bravo...it works for me.

    I think when we look at images like this, we could assume that at the very least it's not a reflection of reality. After that, it's all up to you

    Anyway, I think what I suspected what Topaz Adjust does was pretty close to what it's made to do: to create some kind of HDR image with only one exposure:

    that is way cool... I don't shoot digital yet but I'm enjoying all the cool stuff I'm seeing here and it is so great to get lots of perspectives from so many talented people.

    Without reading the comments, I think it's great and would be a super exhibit piece, I could see it on someone's wall for sure.
