From the Balloon Festival. These guys were picking some unusual spots to land, and later on we found out they had to come down because they were about to violate a secure space at the ANG base nearby.

Thanks Rod and Lori. My wife and I were very lucky. We happened to follow the chase teams, and they were all here in a little cul de sac next to a parking lot. I couldn't believe my luck. I've got some other shots in my Picasa web album (link below).

John it is nice to see something a little different with these balloons. The fact that they look as if they are in trouble makes all the difference. Very nice shot.

ps. Janie, this was taken almost at ground level where they landed. Those 'trees' were as big as many of them are going to get.
