    Weighed Down (HDR)

Here is a photo I took today in my back yard. We have received a TON of snow in the last three days. This is an HDR photo... YES I attempted HDR again

I don't see any halo's on this photo, like my previous. Im interested to see what you all think about my photo. I tried not to over do the HDR.

    C&C Welcome!

I like the composition of this image, however there is a lack of contrast and highlights. Maybe try a levels adjustment or put a gradient over this to add some depth?

Thank you, I adjusted the highlights and Contrast, but did not like the results. It didn't look as nice.

Nice work. I think you could work on the blown out part of the sky on the right and you have a nice keeper. Try using the clone stamp and healing brush. Very goo.

Good hdr work as we wouldn't know it is hdr unless you told us.

Man I really like this. One thing that would be cool would be to saturate the greens just a bit. I think that would add some really cool appeal to an already very good photo.

Another thing you might consider (that I am only starting to consider myself) is using some noise reduction software to cut down the noise in the sky introduced by HDR. This shot works very well at the size it is, but if you blow that up, the sky noise is going to bug the hell out of you.

Noise is an issue, That is why I made the photo a bit smalled for posting on here, I have Noiseware now, seems to work good. Ill run it through that.

    Thanks Daq

Beautiful composition. I like this. I'm wondering if the hdr was needed as sometimes it brings too much detail to an image and we lose the joy of dark and light complimenting eachother. In any case, this is pretty good and would make a nice card i think.

    Re: Weighed Down (HDR)

the problems with HDR become obvious in this photo because of the lightness around the branches which is why HDR doesn'r work with all images for me.

Another problem is that it seems a little flat to me which is more to do with composition.
