    Re: Wedding Day

    Welcome to the site.

I like the fact that you captured them in a beautiful setting. I think I would have zoomed back a little farther, their heads seem cramped at the top. As stated, the greenery is nice, but there's a heck of a lot of contrast going on there.. but it's somewhat mitigated by the flowers and such. Finally, I would not have centered them so much in the frame. You can try a crop of this image to see what I mean - I'd knock out the left 1/3rd of the photo there. Another finally - I might play with the image a bit and try to get her dress back to 100% white.. seems just a little on the cool side (a tad bit of blue there).

Again, welcome and hope you post some more shots (and critique others' shots).

Welcome Dutchess. GB's right--you need a little head room.

    Re: Wedding Day

I love the glimpse of a tender moment. I would crop in tight, really tight. The entire photo happens in the head/shoulders/hand area, nothing else is relevant. Although I think a tight vertical crop showing the white dress and black suit would also work pretty well.

How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.
