Re: We Know God Doesnt Play Dice, But Does He Play Poker?
This is a good triptych, yoyo. I take it the title has to do with his different facial expressions and gestures. hmmm. . . is he bluffing? The only thing i might want to change here is to have the first photo a bit closer up as the other two. Having the subject fill the frame a little more with it's elbow touching the edge as with the other two
Good work and interesting title

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the suggestion and it makes sense to me. I had thought about using "The Bewildered" as the title; but I guessed it was too bland. Then, I used the current one to align their confusion with whether God plays poker. I just have another one in my mind: they bewilder what I bewilder about their bewilderment.

just playing here.
Actually as silly as the title may sound, I think it makes sense and is kinda cool "they bewilder what I bewilder about their bewilderment."
Hi Gary,
The idea is borrowed from an ancient Chinese book. The translation of the text is: Zhuangzi and Huizi had strolled on to the bridge over the Hao, when the former observed, "See how the small fish are darting about! That is the happiness of the fish." "You not being a fish yourself," said Huizi, "how can you know the happiness of the fish?" "And you not being I," retorted Zhuangzi, "how can you know that I do not know?" "If I, not being you, cannot know what you know," urged Huizi, "it follows that you, not being a fish, cannot know the happiness of the fish." "Let us go back to your original question," said Zhuangzi. "You asked me how I knew the happiness of the fish. Your very question shows that you knew that I knew. I knew it (from my own feelings) on this bridge."

Bejazus I am bewildered. I think he is just missing his hair.
I like the greys and greens and I like the idea. But I am not too sure how well it works.
I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Interesting story, yoyo. btw, have you ever heard of the comedy skit by Abbott & Costello called "Who's on First?" . . . . .not very philosophical, but darn funny

Yoyo, I really like where you're going with this triptych but, the first shot just doesn't seem to fit for some reason. Can't decide if it's because it is the only one facing away or if it's because the lighting is so much different or....?
