In most places, fall colors mean trees/plants are dying. In San Diego our fall colors mean different plants come to life and bloom. The Bird of Paradise provide plenty of fall color.

Thanks very much. These blooms are a foot long and six plus inches high. A very exotic, captivating site. One of my favorites. Thanks again.

They are beautiful flowers however, their greatness is pretty much lost in the background.

I agree win NK, i think u needed a bit of separation here. maybe a very shallow DOF? their colour is great though. i see lots of potential here. but the bg is very busy.

Thanks so much for leaving the comments. As the Bird of Paradise were so close to the bush, it was hard to blur it out of the background. So, I took the high step risk of making it all blend together. It is the contrast of red and blue on yellow that I was going for. But, I understand what you are saying. Thanks, though. I appreciate it.
