From last year. I don't know if I posted this in the sports thread last year or not....but they don't pay much attention to anything that isn't bikes, cars, or high school sports. I'd like you guys to take a crack at it.;) It certainly can't be worse than the last two I posted.

Hi John,

This is an interesting shot. I like the varying expressions on these guys while they take a break in the action. I am drawn to the surrounded player who is bending over to catch his breath, I suppose he's the runner. But I think the man in the very back whom we really can't see may be checking him out!

Huh, that's what most of "them" shoot that's why !
I'd be quite happy - and encourage some sports or actions shots without balls, or wheels.

It seems ok. I don't know anything about sports, but wouldn't they be more effective spread out over the play area? As for the butt checking theory....you shoulda guessed CLKunst woulda seen that! I knew I wasn't the one with the gutter brain!

Got it, payn........no 'artistic' borders. :-)There was a lull in the action, and the infielders all gathered around second base, where the runner happened to be. (It's what they do) John

I think we all sometimes feel that way. Don't let it get you down or anything. Sometimes, you have to just decide for yourself, and ignore the critique. If you wanna see crap, look at my past three days worth... that's crap! We all tend to pick each other's work apart, but non-photographers, including designers, etc. like the stuff we often think doesn't work. Part of the problem is simply not knowing the photographer's intent.

Aww, I'm just in a slump I think. Of course, it would help a great deal if I would look at the whole picture to make sure everyones feet are there.
