    This Way To History

The entrance from the foyer of the Kalamazoo Air Zoo to the static displays. You'll notice the slight yellow cast in the center. This is from the lighting at that point of the entrance, and although I tried to make a tint adjustment, I couldn't totally get rid of it. Comments, suggestions, and critiques welcome, as always.

    Re: This Way To History

Quite surreal results, the first photograph leads the eye into the centre of the image very nicely, the dark boundaries and reflections from the floor work very nicely in contrast to each other. Small comment on the base on the left hand side, there is a slightly lighter speck that is vaguely distracting and could be easily corrected. Overall I find the first image very inviting.

The first one is better for me as well. I like the way it leads you into the shot and provides a sense of depth. The colors work really well also. The only thing that I think would improve it would be someone walking in to give it that human element. Maybe an old airman or a father & child.

PC-- Since I go back for my volunteer shift on Thursday, I'll take the D70 and see if I can get one as you suggested.

Herriot -- I see it now. Easily cloned out, and I'll get on it.

    Thanks.

I like them both. I think the yellow tint breaks it up some and adds interest, I think I would leave it as is. Well done.

John, #1! Excellent shot. Subject, framing, exposure. . .right on the mark. The suggestion of catching a person walking through could be effective, but I am not missing it here.
    Well done.

Gary and Greg.......thanks so much. I feel like I'm starting to find a rhythm of sorts, if that makes any sense.
