    Which Way?

I was pretty happy with the outcome here; the people lost and the cab in the tunnell. Then I started to wonder if the rather messy traffic trails mess it up or add interest.
Would value your opinions on this one.

    Cool Re: Which Way?

    Dear Tom,

A good concept with this photo. I like the phantom cab racing through the tunnel and the bewildred people (although, if you hadn't told me I might not have guessed ). Perhaps if the cab could be seen, as opposed to just the lights, you could acheive the effect better. What were you trying to accomplish by the way? Sometimes if you figure out what you want (or were trying to get, as the case may be!), then it is easier to visualize and accomplish. Good shooting!

    Re: Which Way?

This shot I find appealing, for the golden lights in the tunnel and the illuminated traffic signs above the persons. . .and the way the people are standing there. The ghost cab is a good element for interest . I just feel I need something to be a little more defining as to what is going on. I do think that a crop frrom the top just to the opening of the tunnel, and a crop from the right side of equal proportion strenghtens the image a bit, for me. nice exposure.

    Re: Which Way?

    Tom,

I find this photo interesting. I did not read the comments just the caption and looked at the picture first which is what I always tend to do here. I must admit I got it straight away and the colours in the tunnel and the cars moving through the tunnnel are excellent additions to the sign posts which give the impression that these folks have been lost for quite a while, and still have no clue as to where they are or where to go next. I even got the impression that they had been here before and were confused.

I thought that this needed cropping at one stage and then I copied down and played with the cropping tool and the best I found was as Gary suggested but with the little square box on the left middle by the one way sign cropped out as well.

    Nice Photo

Isn't that the cab in the background (London/Dublin-style black cab)?
I love streaking like this in night shots of the city. In this case there would have been a large empty space there had they not been included. Since the actual cab is quite far in the distance the streaking adds another compositional element which I find intriguing.
As for cropping I agree that you don't need so much dark area at the top but you do need some.

    Re: Which Way?

    Hello Everybody
Thanks for the positive feedback. I have done the crop as suggested and I have to say it's a great improvement.
Yes indeed it ia a black London cab heading up the tunnell (near Londonbridge).
    Thanks again
