    Waterfalls

Got a new Tripod today and went out and took some shots of a little waterfall. Man does having a tripod make a huge difference. Now I can slow down the water a little. Are these over saturated though?

Don't look over saturated to me.
Pretty nice shots. Little waterfalls are more interesting than the big ones for me. All the big ones have been shot and there's millions of little ones that haven't.
I think they could use a little more space at the bottom. Perhaps vertical shots.
    Keep Shooting!

I like them too, maybe a tad over contrast (at east #2), maybe a touch too much on color boost or is that color that rich, if so nice. I would have gone portrait on the 2nd one to give more depth. I agree tripods are a blessing, but so often neglected. Shootme

    Re: Waterfalls

Waterfall are a lot of fun to shoot, but at they same time one of the hardiest images to capture. For me in both of your images I like the shutter speed you have chosen and the flow of water. On the other hand both images look to busy to me. It this just maybe me but for waterfalls I like a little cleaner images without all the small branches and foliage in the frame.
Also I don't know if it is from web compression or not but both of the images look pretty soft and not as sharp as they could be.
There is a pretty good way to sharpening your images for the web and it doesn't involve the usual unsharp mask. If you would like a little tutorial just pm me and I will be happy to walk you thru.
Lastly I'm attaching a link that I feel is a real good tutorial in getting started in shooting waterfalls.
Would love to see more of your falls in the upcoming months.

I agree on the softness, it was one of the first things I noticed. I don't think they are over saturated at all though
