    water kite

    This is kind of like the wake boarding pictures Dwaugh posted, but i dont really know what this sport is called really, its wake boarding without the boat instead a giant kite, i have pictures with whole kite and boarder in them but there hard to make out so ill post this one and maybe youll get the idea if you have never seen this before

    I've seen this before, and have even posted some pics of it here this past spring. I call it kite surfing, but I don't know if that's the correct name or not. I have also seen people use this same type of kite with a snow board on a frozen lake. They called that kite boarding. It's king of cool to watch, but like you found out, it's not all that easy to get good shots that really show what's going on. You either zoom in like you did hear, and leave out the kite which is a pretty important part of this sport, or you pan out, and get a landscape shot with a large kite and a tiny person.

    Your exposure looks pretty good, and I really like how you can see the riders face. My only nit pic would be to straighten the horizon.

    thanks for the feedback, yea i guess its one of those shots where there no real way to show whats fully going on, also in my zoomed out shots that show the kite, you can see alot of other people out in the water, surfing, or just hanging out in the ocean
