Watchman engravings

So you're a watchman in 1500 Germany. They put you in this little round enclosed post with two tiny windows. Enemies venturing over the mountains is an extremely rare occurrence. You are bored to death, so you do what everyone else would do. Taking out your pocket knife, you start engraving into the stone surrounding you.

Took this picture in Germany this summer. Didn't know that graffiti went so far back.

Graffiti goes all the way back to the earliest days of man, Caves in Spain and other places are daubed with early graffitti.

I really like this picture, the texture, colours and composition.
