    Warning: Wedding Photo

LOL, I practically never see wedding shots on this board. There might be a reason for that.

I like this shot because in print you can clearly see the one tear drop escaping her right eye.

I converted to BW and cropped in PS.

    Opinions?

What did the bride think about this? She doesn't look very happy and you might take out that unflattering bulge behind her shoulder for her.

The tear drop is visible on my monitor. Tear of joy of course but her expression says "when will this be all over" LOL
    Nice angle here too.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I know, I know. Trust me, she was happy and tearing during her vows. The picture told me, "am I doing the right thing?"

    Thanks.

She didn't comment. I like it personally but I didn't emphasize the shot to the couple.

Her husband uses PS for a living. I'll have him edit her shoulder.

    Thanks.

I love this shot. While critiquewise, I don't care for the blown out shoulder, the "bulge", or the lack of definition in the veil they're really just minor. The expression is priceless. Since all else is so bright, I might want to lighten the shadows on her face just a tad to bring out that tear and expression a bit more, but then again, given the pain she seems to be expressing, maybe shadow in spite of all that sunshine around her may be more appropriate.

Aww guys, I hope she was thinking, "I can't believe this is actually happening." If she's like most young women, she'd already had several relationships that ended up in disappointment, may have even given up on ever finding the one, and the next thing she knew, she was standing next to the man of her dreams, in awe of the moment and grateful. Anyway, that's what I, a single naive college student, got out of the photo Great job!

Either that or she's just about to sneeze.

Great one overall. The tear is indeed visible on my monitor. Nothing can run the gamut of emotion quite like a wedding.

    Re: Warning: Wedding Photo

Not being a pro, I have only a few wedding photos in my collection.

These two were taken when I happened to wander past the wedding at Disney World's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts last May. I pulled the camera up and snapped a couple of shots, only to discover later that the camera's bouncing on my chest had switched it to B&W mode without my knowledge. Neither is a very good picture, but I do think they're sort of pretty:
