This dog seemed totally content in his get-up. Most of it is handmade by his owner, who says he spent over five hours making the boots. This is apparently one of many outfits.

I think some may call this animal cruelty but I think it's just ADORABLE!! My boys would never put up with such a thing.

Funny - I almost entitled it "Animal Cruelty," but didn't think that would be right given how much love there seemed to be between pet and owners.

This is animal cruelty, and a very sick human. There is such a thing as cruelty through love.

My last dog (Brandy) we picked up from a family who loved her a huge amount but kept treating her like a human feeding it chocolate, fillet stake and croast chicken; she ate better than me. Brandy was 1 year old and would have been lucky to last another year on that diet (Vet's words). Fortunately for Brandy the owners moved to Spain and didn't want to take her with them.

Brandy was taken straight to the vet and placed on a strict diet, and exercise regieme. She could barely walk 100yds before being out of breath. Within 6 months we were on 3 mile hikes a day, and she ended up living for 17.5 years. Longest walk was 32miles in one day both owner and best friend, were shattered.

Sorry for the rant but I love animals and feel very protective of them, and there is nothing as cruel as the picture posted, the owner needs therapy.
