    Warehouse

Took this at work last night. As I turned out the lights, this was left highlighted by a flood almost directly above. So I had a go at it. Would welcome your thoughts.

Too much black--it cries out for a serious cropping.

I agree with Don, I think that is all it needs. Otherwise a very nice picture.

    Re: Warehouse

with the newspaper headline, empty chair/missing worker, and the single spotlight, I think the black is good. It looks like this shot was hand held and it produced some really soft spots. I can't really tell exactly what everything is in the photo right away and would prefer for this to be recomposed (basically putting the chair closer to the left side).

I think it's a fantastic shot/idea and it just needs a little work with technical issues and maybe some fill light (maybe just a better exposure) so that I can actually see what's going on with the objects a little better.

Thanks all, I'll have another go at it tonight. I'll probably have to "set it up", don't like rigging things, lol.

I'm just waiting to see when the ghost jumps out.

I like the shot, and that much blackness makes me wonder how far does the warehouse go.

I also thought of another thing you could try. Put the paper on the chair instead of the lumber. It's as if the reader was called to action by the headlines, put the paper down, and disappeared.
