Trying this out in two versions. C & C welcome. I know this looks tilted, but the building is settling.

Not sure why but I do like version 1 better.
The problem with the lean is that there is no way to tell its a building settling without your written input. I'd straighten it.

I like the first with the space on the right. I think it needs sharpened and skew the top and bottom right to level the brick work. Leans are easily fixed. Nice find.

I agree that #1 is more appealing. As Greg said, the space on the right helps and the shadow there adds another interesting element.
It's a good subject and I like the composition of your first shot.
