what I think would have made this image great is if there was motion blur. tripod it, with the structures in focus, but the people with a bit of motion blur. and that person walking in on the left needs to be about 5 feet farther into the picture, with the person walking out on the left completely gone.
I get the same feeling from this that your title suggests. I like the figures at all distances in the scene , and between the columns. I'm surprised you did not convert this to b&w as it seems it would strengthen the overall effect . But then again, those orange hued columns have a pleasing glow.

It's almost as if you perfectly positioned them there yourself Yoyo. Did you purposely include the one just about to make an entrance?
Circles everywhere and your robots walking around in circles! The unusual colours add to a very interesting photograph.

As with everybody else said, it does look almost staged and a very strong, balanced composition. I'm not sure if I like that guy just about to enter on the left hand side; I personally would have liked to see more of him, but I think it works.
I really like the depth, floor's circles and perspective lines of this shot. The people between the poles are also captured well. I don't care much for the tiny bit of the person on the left, though it's a nice shot over all.

I like this photo a lot. The colors and people remind me of the movie 2001 for some reason. I don’t know if the hand and foot in the bottom left corner do much for me but the rest of the picture is really cool.

I am glad that the picture works for you. Grey, I did not think about 2001 with the shot. Thanks for the perspective. By the way, Japan is the world leader in robot research.
