    A Walk On The Wild Side

    I went on a photo shoot at the Wild Animal Park today. Beautiful day, had a great time, hope you like the shots.

    Great stuff!

    Went to the zoo?? I've been locked in by snow and sub zero temperatures..... blargh!

    Anyway, I really like them all but I think my fave is the peacock, I love the huge number of lines and the pattern they make. You are using 300mm and getting that close?? Hmm...

    Thanks all for the comments. Yes, it is a 300mm that I was using for the peacock shot. However, this bird is quite used to people walking about and will stand on your feet if you let it. I had no trouble getting this close. If it were not for the very long and sharp beak, I may have tried to touch these feathers. I decided to keep my fingers in one piece.
