    While I can't decide how I feel about having the boy in the frame, the rest of the image wins me over completely. The colors are wonderful. And I think the composition is ideal. I notice the boats, but then my eye wanders along the wall and down the river bed to focus on the houses. I think it's why the figure bothers me. It disrupts the travel of the eye along the rest of the scene. But it's truly a wonderful shot. Well done!
