    Waiting for Prince Charming

Taken yesterday as part of a "Rock the Dress" shoot where the bride and I drove around finding locations she could not possibly have reached on her hectic wedding day.

    Re: Waiting for Prince Charming

I know nothing about wedding photography.
I like the hue in color #2 and I have a feeling it takes away a very distracting ground and a competing light background. The only thing is, and this may be due to my lack of knowledge, why is the non-bride centered here?

The "brides maid" was left centered in case I needed to showcase a "non-traditional" marriage shot. They were cool with the idea and played it up for me through the day. So imagine the "non bride" as being the "non male spouse" for that shot.

    Re: Waiting for Prince Charming

Hey Jaedon - I really love the colors of # 2. It does a lot to force the viewer to focus on the people instead of the background. I can understand what you are doing with the non-traditional centering thing, but it's still difficult to register in my classically-trained photographer's mind ... - but I also feel that # 1 is too centered. Perhaps you could also warm up # 1 a bit, as warm skin tones usually trump all else with portraiture and models (you may have to mask her first since you do not want her dress and the background to go pinkish).
