    Waiting for cars

The tempreature in the pit lane, I was told later, was -3C so it's no surprise the cars weren't on track! So while I was waiting for some formula 1 testing to begin, I looked for other things...

    Re: Waiting for cars

    Sorry, I had too.

Not making light of your work here, but this was the best potential composition I saw arising from these shots.
i know how hard it can be to sort through the myriad of potential images around you and come up cold(believe me, I and my wastebasket know all to well!).
IMO most of your comps. here fall flat. There's no main centre of interest or something to grab the viewers attention and hold it there.
If you or anyone else feels I'm being unfair or narrow-minded please have a go at these. Maybe I'm just tired.
Anyway Paul, i'm sure you won't let me discourage you (I'm not trying too) and you'll keep shooting.
    Cheers.

    Re: Waiting for cars

Excellent shots here Paul. My favourite, by far, is number three. The nicely visible moon, and the lines and contours of the buildings. Great shot. With your first shot, great shot, but a cool idea I'd love to try with all those numbers is somehow line them up so you can see them zoomed in nice and tight and have them slowly tilting in towards the centre. It would need a reshoot, obviously, but there's alot of things I think you could do with the surroundings you were in! Great shots!

The whimsical nature of the last shot is captivating with your shadow showing so clearly. I like shots that have a bit of fun in them.
