    Waiting for Arrival..

I took a friend's maternity pictures. Let me know what you think. I'd appreciate any and all feedback!

PS - I had to compress the image quite a bit, so that may come into play while viewing it online. (it's actually sized to 640x480 no thanks to my software!! Her stomach really doesn't stick out that far!)

    LOL

Yes, she is expected to be a BIG baby!

She's due any day (possibly down to hours) now.

We got these pictures done in the nick of time!

I love the potential of this, though I think the execution was a little off for me personally. I think if there wasn't the camera blur, this would be a superb photo. Very mysterious, almost intimate to a sense. It's very unique photo and quite the interesting result.

Nice to see you posting and I'll check out your ones in the photo critique,

    Good job,

i like this because the b/w gives it a feel and i do enjoy the lighting
when taking shots of pregnant women
i would try something we dont see everyday
    for example
    having her lay down
    holding her tummy
    or something like that
how come her stomach looks so pointed
    keep shooting

I agree with a few other comments; it is a nice composition and perfect exposure imo. What detracts from it are motion blur and the fact that she looks soo... squished. When you say the image was compressed, do you mean shrunk in size only vertically? It looks like that's what happened. Otherwise, great shot.

    Re: Waiting for Arrival..

the angle of the shot seems very peculiar, her belly seems almost unreal, not just in how much it extends out - but in the shape of it. however, upon further inspection it seems it may be just the angle of the shot. if your intention was to catch an interest with this shot it certainly did the trick, the composition works very well.
